Briscoe

History:

Kirk and Cindy Briscoe are originally from the Kansas City Missouri area.

They both graduated from Lee's Summit High School in the early 1980's.

After high school, Kirk attended a local Community College then became trained in the printing field. Cindy attended cosmetology school and they were married soon after her graduation.

Although both had made a profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, neither was a growing Christian. That was until they were invited to visit Tri-City Baptist Church, in Independence, MO. Upon hearing the Word of God so truthfully preached, they knew that this was the church they were to become a part of. At Tri-City they understood their need to follow in believers baptism and became members of the church in 1990. Tri-City provided a great place for them to learn and grow and raise their young family.

The Missionary Call:

Mission trips to Mexico became a semi-annual event in Kirk's life after his first trip to Mexico in 1992. His wife and son went on a family trip in 1998 and it was after that trip that Kirk felt led to attend Heart of America Bible College. After completing a Bible degree, and working at OREMEX helping with mission trips as a volunteer family in 2002, God make it very evident that they were to leave their familiar home area and start a new life as Missionaries with OREMEX Ministries.

Currently:

After traveling on Deputation and working fulltime in the summers, their family now resides in Edinburg, TX. Kirk heads up the mission trip ministry here at OREMUNDO and his wife works at the local Christian school their daughters attend. They are active members of Maranatha Baptist Church in McAllen, TX and still go out on deputation meetings from time to time. They are available for any meetings and mission conferences.
